Proof that there is rampant cheating in the online poker world. I was one of the people who these people at absolute poker and ultimate bet ripped off to the tune of thousands of dollars. I still remember one of the worst hands that I just could believe. I lost around k on this single hand and whipped out my account. I had pocket Kings, and was the last to bet. So it goes around the table, and someone raises preflop to 0. About 4 other people called, and then it gets to me, and I raise to 0. I figure, either everyone will fold, or someone has AA. Well, it gets all the way back around to the guy sitting just to my right, and much to my shock, the guy calls! The flop comes 4/10/q, all off suit. The guy goes all in. And I’m still thinking the guy has AA, because now he goes all in, and we got a k pot if I call. Knowing only one hand could beat me with the preflop that he called, I know the chances of him having AA with the other 3 people at the table calling a preflop 0 raise was absolutely astronomical. So, I called. The guy turned over 10/q off suit -2 pair -and won. Why would you risk 1/4 of your bankroll with 10/q off suit. Stuff like that just doesn’t happen at high stakes poker tables. So after losing all of my money, I dejectedly posted my story on some poker boards that I frequented. Just on an off chance, I decided to post the guys name.
